Retreat at Waterside

Our move to the Retreat has been nothing but a pleasant experience. The staff is so friendly and supportive. Amber recently helped me through a difficult situation and went above and beyond in her communication. I also had surgery after moving in and Kelly and her husband from Apartment Life came by with a card and well wishes. I knew I had made the right decision to move my family here.

Called in inquiring on renting an apartment and the young lady that answered the phone was extremely welcoming and knew her stuff!! Apartment shopping is already so stressful but after talking to Jasmine. I didn’t have to look any further I will definitely be furthering and renting from them their staff is AMAZING!! Thanks again Jasmine for making this a breeze for me!!! Not sure if she’s the manager of the property but she definitely has the qualities. That was a great conversation to reel in tenants! Will be seeing you guys very soon.

I would like to start off by saying I've lived here for going on 2 years and its been great. I overall like being here and haven't had any major issues. My biggest complaint is that its expensive. I understand its in the middle of greenville but in the 2 years I've lived here i started off paying 900ish on a 1 bedroom apartment and now I'm paying close to 1200, and to add on top of that every 3 or 4 months the monthly fees go up. The fees keep going up but nothing changes. We've had no trash compacter for over a month. The pond in the middle of the complex is completely dry and is now just a mud hole. And every few weeks the entrance gates are either not working or are completely gone. Another fun feature they added was Internet included in your monthly fees. Which is forced onto you even if you don't want it. Before this was added i was paying for my own spectrum service, in fact i was paying less than half. And now my Internet hardly works. Wired Ethernet is still fine but the WiFi is constantly dropping and video calls are almost impossible and before this was added i never once had issues. A smaller issue I've had is that management is very iffy on which emails they respond to. On the other hand I've never had an issue with maintenance crews and repairs so good on them. Although i like it here this will be my last lease at retreat at waterside.

I’ve been living here with my SO for 4 months now and I’m so happy. The office staff are always happy to help when we have any issues or concerns. The maintenance staff is great too. When I have to put in a work order they are always there promptly and professionally, especially Francisco. He’s made a great impression on me with how hard working and dedicated he is. :) The apartment grounds stay nice and clean. I notice that the maintenance staff actively make sure everything is tidy and well taken care of. This is my first time moving out on my own so I don’t have much to compare to but I’m sure am happy that I picked this place to call home. It’s been a breeze so far. If you are considering applying here I would you won’t regret it!
